It would seem that there really is such a thing as a camera being "too small"! My trusty FX-520, pocketable sidekick to my cumbersome DSLR gear, has many features. Unfortunately, impact-resistance isn't one of them....
The FX-520 is my chosen P&S, as it actually fits in my pocket (being rectangular in shape when powered off, not unlike a typical candybar cellphone). A recent incident involving my dear FX-520 and the floor resulted in the lens being whacked roughly 10 degrees off the main axis, which jammed it in place, unable to retract once powered off.
Well, it's off to the repairer for this little guy then. Hopefully, it won't take as long as my recent repair job with Nikon!
Musings and light-hearted tales of my hobbies (photography, cars) and anything else that warrants mention....
